How Engagement Typically Works

Initial conversation. A direct discussion about the case, the timeline, and what kind of involvement would actually help. No obligation, no extended intake process.

Scope & terms. Whether the engagement is a full appellate representation, a discrete writing project, or an hourly research arrangement, scope and terms are agreed upfront in writing.

The work. Deadlines and communication are handled the way any attorney would expect from co-counsel: directly, and without unnecessary hand-holding.
Referral and contract engagements are handled with the same discretion as any client matter.
